Waterman Grille offers an array of custom spaces for your wedding or private event each highlighting the dramatic and romantic character of our historic building. From small intimate parties, to corporate meetings or social gatherings, to formal celebrations and wedding receptions, our choice of four different private event rooms including an outdoor Patio space will be sure to accommodate all your event needs up to 120 guests seated. No matter your preference, you will be pleased with our unique location and our ability to accommodate all your event requests.
Here are our spaces available for your next event:
THE RIVERVIEW ROOM A setting just as dramatic as it is romantic; the Riverview Room is the ideal space for wedding receptions, private parties or formal functions. Located on the lower level, the Riverview Room boasts spectacular views of the Seekonk River. Two sides of floor to ceiling windows drape the room providing stunning eye-level views of the water, while beautiful brick floors anchor the room. An abundance of natural light during the day and intimate lighting at night provides a welcoming atmosphere for any event. Our bar and lounge area is adjacent to the Riverview Room and is a perfect spot for cocktail receptions prior to dining. The Riverview Room offers ample space for formal functions while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere that can accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit-down event. For cocktail parties the Riverview Room can accommodate groups up to 150 guests while offering limited seating.

THE PATIO A waterfront setting rarely found in the Capital City, the Patio sits directly along the Seekonk River and offers remarkable views that are sure to impress any guest. The space can be fully enclosed and heated, providing comfort during the cooler months, while still maintaining its stunning riverside atmosphere. This open-air–style setting is an ideal location for small weddings and all types of private gatherings, and can accommodate 60 guests for a sit-down event and 80 guests for a cocktail reception-style gathering.

THE LOFT Located on the second floor of the restaurant, the Loft is a private, beautifully appointed room that is the perfect choice for groups up to 36 guests. Soft colors blend seamlessly with natural accents of wood and the fireplace gives the room New England charm, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Perfect for small luncheons, receptions or dinner parties, the Loft guarantees an elegant setting to any occasion.

THE EAST SIDE ROOM Ideal for small dinner parties, bridal or baby showers, the East Side Room. is the perfect space for any social or corporate occasion. The décor and atmosphere of the room can be tailored to create the ideal setting for a business luncheon or dinner party. Located on the lower level of the building the East Side Room. can accommodate groups with up to 30 guests.
